What is Mongolian cashmere?Updated 2 years ago

The nomadic life provides Mongolians with a sense of historical identity and pride. Depending on the weather, families along with their animals move at least four times a year and even more than 10 times in dry and heavy snow years.

Biological features of Mongolian cashmere goats, especially grazing on the desert and high mountain pastures with the unique natural and climatic conditions of Mongolia, are the basis of our cashmere production. Mongolian goats grow long fine fibers and provide the widest colour range of cashmere.

Mongolian cashmere is also distinguished by an incredibly soft finish, which is the result of delicate fibers that are almost silky to the touch. It does not have the itchy quality of wool but still provides insulating warmth without having to be wrapped in layers and layers of it; hence, why our cashmere is such a wanted fabric.
